What would you do if you were renovating a unit and you got distracted and walked in on your 3 year old daughter in the other room?

That reminds me of the day one of our kids,i think he was about 4 at the time, decided to open the fridge door,drag a chair over to the fridge and then put the eggs into the egg compartment.

You can imagine,chair on side,broken liner on fridge door and egg everywhere....

And i couldn't find him for a while,he was hiding in the back shed.

Our only saviour was the carpet was due to get ripped a few days later.

Reminds me of the time I was servicing the County in the shed, and my three year old (now 15) grand daughter wandered down to the shed - and while my back was turned - was fascinated by the container I had just drained the engine oil into, and put her arm in it up to the elbow. Of course, it was then widely distributed!

I must be going soft.
Woke at 2am and it was 26 degrees. At 9am it was 30 and the forecast is 37! It's like being back in Thailand in April.
I've already spent two days this week outside house painting so I've served my time.
The wife is off at a workshop, I have work to do and the dog was moping about outside, so now we're both hiding in the air-con.
Meanwhile the neighbour is out in the sun with his whipper snipper. Rather him than me.

37 in the shed,fan going and all doors and windows open.

Seems like about 80% humidity at least.

Our dog is the same,trying to find the coolest spot in the place

She is pretty tired,I took her with me to the first job this morning and the paddock next door seemed to full of hares

After a couple of swims in the dam she seemed to recuperate a bit.
