I just dont like people using phones while driving. Call me old fashioned.
The fact a number on your dash was enough to get a camera out suggests your concentration was not on the road.
I imagine if a cop drove past he would charge both of you.
Im not a cop and its not for me to list offences but if your more interested in a number than whats infront of you while doing 110 then yes it concerns me as it should others who use roads around you.

Mate, I just don’t get you. We have a few back and forths on a few threads and you hate my guts now? I didn’t report the threatening PM you sent me - quite the opposite in fact and I replied with an olive branch and an apology if I’d upset you. I’m assuming you hold a grudge but I don’t so still happy to be mates even though the back and forth may continue here.

Do I press people buttons? Yep, sometimes but so do plenty others here - mostly it’s in gest and yes, things get lost in translation so again, if I have genuinely upset you with my posts, I do apologise - I’ve said that before and am happy to again.

I’ve got into plenty of heated debates with others here over the years but we’ve always made up, that’s the sort of place it is. It’s here to discuss our chosen Marque, have a laugh and debate some topics, not just a place to come and rag on people all the time which is what you do every time I post now.

I’m still happy to shake hands and make up - I’m on here because I enjoy the company - yes, even yours, I am who I am, as are you and our opinions and sense of humour may be poles apart but that doesn’t mean every post should be an argument. A bit of sparing here and there is inevitable I suppose but don’t take that as me not liking you - those that know me also know I’m the sort of guy that gets along with pretty much everyone.

I’ll leave it at that now - the second olive branch is out and I hope you take it, but if not, then that’s up to you. life’s too short to be mad at people all the time. Everyone’s different so no use being mad at them just for this.

I did not threaten you, i merely gave you my address should you want to advance your attacks on me. You didn't. I felt you wanted to try degrade me in a public forum and if so i was more than willing to allow you to try do that face to face. Thats the kind of man i am.

Dangerous infact. Someone in the passenger seat if leaning across your view then yes thats also dangerous to others. I could not care about you but its the others we should worry about.
Its why its such a big think with cops.

Sad you’re so angry with the world. Will take it that you don’t want to try and be friends, that’s all good if that’s what you want. Life’s too short to be mad at everyone all the time IMO. I apologised - twice now, so if you think I was degrading you, you should have reported the post and had the Mods and Admins sort it out.

I’ll stop bugging you if that’s what you want, but I expect the same in return and will report anything from now on that I don’t feel is in the spirit of the forum.

And as pointed out 3 times now - I wasn’t using my phone - it was in its holder. believe that or not, I really don’t care. And he didn’t lean across me - his arms must be longer than yours.

As would everyone in our industry.

If i didn't,i wouldn't have a business or a job,nothing would get done.

Just imagine pulling over and stopping every time the phone rang.

Sure, at times i don't answer it,often due to whats going on,its just the same as anything else,use common sense,be careful and aware.

I was having this exact conversation with one of our other techs yesterday, he said the same thing.
If we pulled over each time the phone rang or we needed to call we'd never get to a job.

I think my record for calls in and out it in a working day is close to 60, but I was project managing at the time, as well as playing tech.

Yeah, some of my calls can last an hour - I wouldn't get more than 100km in a day if I had to stop to take calls.
