Today is the day!!!!

Looking forward to seeing photo's of Pluto over the next few months and the high res ones next year.

Will there be any thing about this on television ? It would be good to see a quality doco on this. Just annoying that the interest in space exploration no longer " rates"

well it's been 9 years getting there......

was it worth the wait?

for anyone who fancies the idea of space travel Pluto is very close to us.

"see you in 20 years love , I'm just off to spend a few weeks on Pluto"

kind of puts it in perspective.

all of the communications systems on board the spacecraft are now out of date.

so we got it there , now lets bring it back home.........
