    I wish it could work, but not with solar panels only at 15% efficiency.
    Plastic roads sound more feasible, but I'm no engineer.

    I have used plastic bollards and sign posts in parks I have built and they go like a banana on the shady side. I can see they would have to do a bit to get it to deal with 45 to 0 degrees in some areas.

    No at all keen on windfarms myself

    Bitumen, plastic or solar panels, one thing you can be sure of is that councils and utility authorities will dig them up soon after completion.
