    Yeah, I guess tarred roads will go the way of dinosaurs one day. Plastic does have its possibilities in this use I guess. Then again, maybe one day all cars will just hover and won't need prepared roads!!!

    I hope they include noise damping. The plastic planking that graces foot bridges nowadays instead of timber is terrible loud to roll the treadly over, people have complained to their councils over it. Imagine the booming sound of clonky hollow roads past your house...

    Would be interesting... the old concrete slab roads they made in the past always seemed to shift and create ridges which made driving on them a PITA. All the modern stuff is continuously cast. Not an option with this solution I'd think.

    But 'A' for thinking outside the box.
