Finally got my new wheels and tyres for the D3 sorted

Pics tomorrow night when I pick up the wheels and fit them.

Ross tried on the rims and fitted one tyre to a rim. He will fit the rest by tomorrow.

I was so exited that I had to make a post.

The rims actually look okay in reality compared to the pics on the Performance Wheels website. They almost look like factory wheels.

Its ok hiline, i have a mate in the earth moving business i can get gim to dig you out cheap. :wink:

Ace,

I've got the Cooper S/T 245/70R17. These aren't the anti chip compound which are not available in my size.

I decided on these over the new STT which looks great but could be rather noisy compared to the S/T. I don't plan to do heaps of mud drives which the STT might be better suited to where as the S/T seems to be a better all rounder. Also the comments I got back on my previous post on the Coopers gave me some reassurance that the S/T was a good tyre. I spoke with Wardy on the Walhalla trip and he has a set of S/T's on his Disco 2 and I think he mentioned it was his second set.
