You watched it? Wasted hours of your lives on that tripe. Read in the morning. Answers will be there without the stress.

i thought it was extremely entertaining....

flicked thru all the channels and thoroughly enjoyed some of the drivel emanated.

sadly some took it like adults and some continued behaving like children..

highlight of the night..... happy trails....

But of course I've got no facts, I don't know what I'm talking about etc etc.
Any way here's a couple more examples:
1.Herald Sun Melbourne. P11.Monday June 27. CFMEU "Deal", to inflate cost of toll road & metro rail projects....."would add hundreds of millions of dollars to the cost of Vic Gov projects"....."would also add $89 per sq meter to the cost of apartments, meaning an extra $6000 for an average apt. "the new agreement would undoubtedly flow through to ccivil projects"
    2. Herald Sun Melbourne. p23. Saturday July 2. CFMEU Loy Yang "wage claim"..workers demanding $180,000 p.a. for a FOUR DAY WEEK, pay to walk from a car park, $15 pw mobile phone allowance..21.5% over 4 years previously rejected. This is power generation, a MAJOR cost to manufacturing,...ain't gonna help is it?
I still say COSTS of many descriptions are a major issue, if we are to be competitive,...it will be interesting to see what comments relative to "costs" come to light when all of the Whyalla stake holders finally sit down around the table.

The truth, the truth and nothing but half the truth!
1: That's a $6000 increase over 4 years or given the average price of a unit is well over $350,000 it's about a one percent a year increase! WOW MASS PRICE HIKE BY WAGE INCREASES! Continue to ignore prices have increased by 10-15% in the last 12 months with nada to do with wages!

2: Yup AGL are a borderline company having only made $650million profit last year, and you have no link to their EBA. Now if the states still owned all the power generation one of two things would be possible, 1, $650 million extra ( and that's only from one provider , how many are there?)income to the state govt. 2. A reduction in power costs across the state for all of $650 million, or a combination of both.

You wanted FACTS, I provided them.
PAY,.....for walking from carpark to work??!!...Lol.
    PAY,.....$15.00 p.w. for mobile phone??!!.....Lol.
So Frantic, firstly, are you saying that what I've quoted here is not correct, and secondly, do you think these are reasonable claims?...a yes or no will suffice.
    All good?....yeah right......I don't think so.
From now on I shall continue to provide FACTS, but of course, maybe the info in the press is not to be believed, so I suppose that some won't believe that either.

Quite simple, last time a pickled person posted headline "facts" they where shown to only be true if a top sparkie worked 60-70 hours a week and only for the time of construction which lasted 6-12months. This was shown via the EBA.
So far all we have is AGL's claims via the front page.
So at best about 25% fact , rest was and still is hype and fabrication.
Firstly AGL offered 20% , last year, none of the employees asked for this, it was knocked back because the carrot had a 10% reduction in employees stick that they couldn't agree on ,,,, OOPS another fact or three omitted!
Secondly the place is already severely short staffed as last year they averaged $33,000 in overtime per person x 600 = over 100 employees short! Another fact to ignore.
So they are offering to do a 4 day week with no employee reductions knowing that AGL will not admit they are already short staffed, but AGL's lower managers will be forced to call them in for 1-3 extra shifts a week simply because their short staffed.
Oops forgot the apartment buildings And construction site workers increasing costs by 1% a year.
