Well Chris, I think that cleaning your defender is your secret favourite pastime.
    Cheers, Billy.
    Keeping it simple is complicated.

Right now your not far from the truth with our road works!!
I rang up the sales guy I bought the Defender from and he told me the course is rather basic, he said if you have any experience you will probably find it boring. I might send the missus on it.

Make use of it somehow. As an inexperienced 4WD owner I added it to my Defender purchase and it's cost about $570.00.

Wow!! I am lucky to get it then.
I will see if the missus wants it, if not I will give it away here. I will try though to talk her into going as it will be good for her IMO.

I did a 'basic 4x4 training' course with the local 4wd club. I learned a heap, and it was in a safe and supportive environment- probably the polar opposite of a bunch of mates, a gnarly track and the pressure to perform miracles.

I'm also of the opinion that there is always something new to learn, even if you take one small thing out of the whole day, it's worthwhile.

It is true you can always learn something new and its free so all I have to loose is a Saturday. If I have to do it in my Defender I will but I would rather take theirs up creeks and fill their rads with mud, I love 4x4ing I just hate the clean up afterwards

It would be a fun day out and you mght learn something about your vehicle and experience other Landys in action.

In about 3 weeks I will be doing the Experience in Solihull, plus checking out the factory😀. I know that is no good to you now, but I'll let you know what it's like after.
