    There she blows OR How I tell the weather is changing.

    As some know one of our two dogs is an Akita cross.
    Being a double coated dog as the weather changes so does her outer coat.
    The issue I have is SHMBO has let her become an indoor dog so we get 3 coat changes a year

    Anyone want some fluff?

    Same.
    We have a Red Cattle dog which was always an outside dog.
    Since I have been working away from home somehow he has become an inside dog?
    I have asked SWMBO about this, she just shrugs & mumbles something about to cold/hot & kids.
    This is something I have decided I'm not going to win & the dog (& SWMBO) will do as they please.

    But I'm cheating. It's from keyhole surgery to biopsy her liver. Got the all clear so very happy. Back to normal shedding once it grows back There she blows OR How I tell the weather is changing.

    I see you have wooden floors. You should invest in a robot vacuum! We have a cat and the robot vac is amazing. As soon as the weather warms up, CAT HAIR EVERYWHERE! The robot vac is almost perfect on wooden floors. You can set it on a scheduled clean or just put it on whenever you want. Takes a while to do a room or a whole house, but just put it on when you're not home. Takes care of all the cat hair and it even puts itself back on the charger when it's done. It has avoided a lot of arguments between SWMBO and myself, I'm sure of it!!
