If you're an autoeroticist that doesn't listen to clear instructions and therefore die, that should be a lesson to all the other wannabe hands free pilots out there.
Maybe it should be called: Autopilotbutnotreally.

You can call it what you like, but if an owner of complex machinery doesn't RTFM then it's tough luck on them. No different to handing a nitwit a snatch strap without first checking that they have a working brain cell or two.

I was thinking today that it would be great to have an autonomous vehicle to drive you home if you had a few too many.
BUT WAIT! What would the cops think at an RBT? And would it pull over? and how would it handle the subsequent police chase. Would it do the bogan thing if it saw flashing lights and accelerate?

    Regards Philip A

Hmm, except that the snatch strap doesn’t purport to drive itself.

The lawyers are getting in on it. I think they can see there's money to be made.

Forget the foley of Elon Musk, Jag's iPace is in production and will always be a better bet being from a known reliable vehicle manufacturer Vs a "Dreamer - Rocket Man".

If Musk was serious about saving the environment he would have produced conversion kits by now... he is not, he is just intent on becoming an IT disruption tycoon/legend.

Hmm , usually I either stumble indirectly home , or to the train. Rarely do I need a private vehicle , but then a cab will do. An autonomous vehicle would take the fun out of the chat with the cabbie or the merits of which way is best.
Far from being bogan , sitting in your own private chariot screams pretentious ******.

Tesla's fight with the Feds over the Autopilot death

I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking
