    Folding Step Ladder

Has anyone seen a folding ladder similar to this one on their travels? [ame="https://youtu.be/NICQ-OkEcus"]https://youtu.be/NICQ-OkEcus[/ame]
I have a half Rhino Rack on one side of my roof and a half roof pod on the other. A ladder like this would be great to store between the two when I'm travelling. I've had a bit to do with Australian Standards for ladders at work and I would imagine that being the nanny state of a country that we are, this sort of thing is not allowed!! No harm in looking though. I know they are available on Ebay etc but can only be sourced from the States (= $$$$ postage).

A single sided version was supplied with the early Carry Me Campers for getting up into bed - I have one here which I don't use as I found it too unstable due to it being narrow and have moved on to a telescopic ladder. I've never seen a step ladder version like shown in the video. I have no idea, but suspect there is an issue with compliance with standards with these designs.

Pretty sure I saw something like that at the last Sydney camping/4wd show at Rosehill. Didn't take note of the merchants details.
You could email this mob for a freight quote. http://www.campingworld.com/shopping...p-ladder/20318

Why restrict it to camping and RV owners? That's the sort of thing that'd be brilliant around the home, the ability to store it being it's most useful feature.

Always check this out. I know the yanks can be pretty thick about postage outside of the US but those that do understand the system can ship things quite reasonably sometimes - I base this on a bike frame and a couple of sets of wheels I've imported (big boxes), not to mention a lot of smaller bike bits.

Seems like I spoke (and posted) too soon. A little more searching and I found an Aussie distributor of a very similar ladder based in Victoria. A 5 step ladder is $120 including postage. Placing my order tomorrow!

If you're after one Crackers, check out Gumtree (search Compact Folding Aluminium Ladder in Adelaide area). A guy is selling one second hand. I'd buy it but I'm in Sydney.
