    New type of oil change

    Interesting concept:
Castrol Nexcel gives you a 90 second engine oil change, debuts on Aston Martin Vulcan - Pocket-lint

Its basically like a printer cartridge swap out, but for the engine oil and filter in your car. It will be interesting to see if it takes off in general consumer cars or is limited to exotics and high end cars.

with all the right prep, I reckon I could just about knock over an oil change on a tdi in about that with all the right gear and providing the filter didnt fight and you didnt mind a mess.

Chevron own Caltex although they sold their stake in the Australian business and the name is now licensed. BP own Castrol.

Lst week while doing an oil change on a 200 tdi, I managed to drop the sump plug into the bucket with the used engine oil.
