We are also glad these two have finally been caught. We also have a property at Elong Elong..not far from Johns. There are a lot of bush tracks in the area and it would be quite easy to "lose yourself" for months on end if you wanted to.
Glad they weren't hiding out at our place, we only go there for a few days at a time once a month or so. The news reports say the property they were caught on was called "Pinevale" on Tonniges Road, Elong Elong. Can't find it on Google Maps. The report also mentions the person found dead on the property was from Green Valley (Western Sydney).

Tonniges Lane is the road that runs west from Boomley, the railway siding (used to have a school and a post office, now no buildingds at all) at the bend in Boomley Rd where it changes from roughly running West to North. I'm not sure exactly which property it is though

Glad to hear you're OK, JD.
Got a bit of a shock hearing Elong Elong mentioned on the radio on my way home today - immediately thought of you up there. (Can't believe it's four years since that great AULRO 10th weekend!)

I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

I found out today that on the hill overlooking "Pinevale" is a cave that was used by Jimmy Governor's other brothers who fled into the bush after he and his brother Joe and Underwood were being hunted, fearful of being lynched. It is possible the others also used the cave on their way towards the coast before they were captured or killed.

This was in 1900, but the situation would seem to have been startlingly similar!

Even the Stoccos would never find JDNSW's place

No and No. The place was sold last year, and I never even heard the name of the new owners.
