    What are the odds....

Say you have a packet of lollies.
say it has 3 different types of lollies in it (Assume in equal proportion although in reality they arent)
you reach in and grab 6 lollies
what are the odds of reaching in and grabbing 2 of each type
what are the odds of doing it 3 times in a row?

I would think the total amount of lollies would have to be a multiple of 3,, so can I use 60?

    and,,,, I am outsourcing this

This from someone who should know
"You have to work out the number of different combinations of 6 lollies that are possible (like lotto 6 balls out of 45 - which is over 8 million ways). This will be the denominator of the fraction. The number of ways to get 2 of each will only be one of the ways. So the probability as a fraction is 1 / total number of ways..(way more than 8 million because there are 60 lollies not 45). . For 3 in a row multiply this fraction by itself 3 times... a very very small number.."
