    What's your special 'Super Power'!

C'mon, everyone has one - something we can do as good or better than anyone else. That little something you pride yourself on. We are all special in some way, shape or form...

So, I'll kick it off - my super power is choosing avocado!

Yep, that's right - I have near a 100% strike rate on choosing ripe avocados. I don't even need to squeeze them - I can hold them in my hand and just know which is the right one - it ****es the missus off no end as she always brings home bricks or brown soggy ones. . Made a killer guacamole tonight for tacos....

    So, let's have it - what's yours?

But are you any good at picking an avocado?

I'm an expert at buying faulty goods.

The trick to picking the ripe avocado is to pick the stem nub off, and see what colour the flesh is underneath. Has worked for me so far.

Ron, I would consider your proof reading up there myself.

I can remember details of the what and when, but fall short on the who.
When meeting people, it takes me 2-3 times to remember someone's first name alone, but I seem to have a better hit rate when we exchange first and last names... but I'd probably remember their vehicle's number plate or the sticker on the back of it first! I remember stupid crap sometimes.

I have an innate ability to spot trouble moments before it happens and position myself one up on it.

That and getting speeding fines and I can talk my way into bigger fines.

One of the few things I am good at is remembering number plates of vehicles I have owned. I can remember all the ones I have had plus ones that my Dad owned going back to the old "Q" plates in Qld. It was Q537104 on an old Vauxhall Velox in the mid 1950's.

One thing I'm good at is over complicating things.
A plan is drawn up to remote mount 2 relays from the under bonnet fuse box. Tomorrow I'm wiring in an auxilary fuse box, with 7 relays and 10 fused circuits. ...

I remember my dad's old MKV11 Jaguar rego OXV490 from 1960 when he sold it (52 Jaguar), but as for peoples names I fail miserably, but do remember all the dogs names we meet most mornings when we take Auster for his walk, there is Mac, Rosy, Charlie (a female Labrador), Lachlan, Pearl, Reggie, Stella etc, but as for the owners - how's it going today!
