Chasing a chook yesterday I dropped my phone, breaking the screen. I can no longer do anything with the phone and all my contacts are on the phone, not the SIM.
To all you good people with whom I have exchanged phone numbers, could you please text, email or PM me your number and name.
Insurance will cover the damage but a factory reset is part of the repair process.
On a brighter note, the chook will be on somebody's dinner plate next week.

No, I need to unlock the phone first but cannot do so with a broken screen.

I assume it's not a smart phone? One of the great things about Android (and I would think Apple) is they synchronise all your contacts. Get a new phone, put in your credentials, and within minutes all your contacts are back!
Mind you, one could debate about the whole privacy issue...![]()
So your phone was a victim of fowl play
