Coles had nil stock of my Ice Break tonight so the bloke who checked out the back for me offered to price match the brand of my choice. I picked the South Australian product but declined the price match offer as IB retails for $6.59 (on special today for $5,20) and the FU is $4.00. He made a counter offer, half price....bargain.

It's worth checking the sugar level in iced coffees because some of them have a lot of sugar.

No it's not, I have enough to worry about without adding that; ignorance is bliss.

There's your problem, Pedro. No one should have a favourite dried coffee. That stuff is vile.

A can of Coke has about 10 teaspoons of sugar. Some iced coffees are up there with that. Instant obesity, if we're not careful.

Is this a good time to mention the dreaded International Roast?

Quick and easy for them too.

One of my regular haunts makes up batches, bottles and refrigerates them Very Cold, - cold enough to have without their optional ice-blocks.

    - You just gotta train your vendors...
I went into a coffee place on the outskirts of Melbourne a while back and asked for an iced coffee only to be told "we don't do iced coffee!"

So I asked for a latte, but with cold, non-frothed milk.
I was met with a look that made me think I'd suddenly sprouted a second head!

The girl then passed the order over to the barista who came over to me to double check and question what I wanted, so I simply had to spell it out again as an espresso shot and add cold milk. And a couple of ice cubes if you've got any.

I never expected it to be that difficult.....
