That is interesting. They have chosen to add the Aboriginal name without discarding the European name.
They have hyphenated the name so that it becomes Ikara-Flinders Ranges National Park.
I am aware of several others where the European name has been discarded in favour of the Aboriginal name, including Narawntapu National Park, which may be harder to pronounce, but certainly sounds more attractive than Asbestos Ranges NP.
I can't think of any others where they have kept the two parts of the name. Is this a first?
