Thread: Easter Parade

Took part in the Easter Parade with the series 111. We headed the local Special Olympics Contingent.

My Grandfather served from 1918 to 1924, the last 2yrs, 22 to 24 was in the Irish Army, he was there for the surrender of the Irish Guard, proud day for Ireland, and a sad day for those who lost their lives, hope you enjoyed the day

Only just tracked him down via Irish and British war records, looking for a long lost half sister, haven't found her as yet.
