its funny how we have so much of it we could power most of Australia's industries for many years, without the worry of nukes, dead cows from wind farms, coal dust or reliance on imported fuel.
But do our Pollies care?

I think the servos may be getting out of LPG because their tanks may be getting up towards their use by dates.LPG kicked off in the early 80's,those servo tanks could well be coming up to 30 years old and the margins on LPG with impending new taxing would make it un-economic to replace the equipment.

Aah, something I can check on. Mmmm, google search, key words etc, find a result:
https://www.racv.com.au/wps/wcm/conn...g+from+crashesThere is no evidence that LPG or any other type of vehicle are at a higher risk of catching fire.
......
The research did not find any significant trends for different fuel types to contribute to fire risk. While individual cases of vehicle fire have occasionally raised media interest in the relative safety merits of different fuels such as LPG, the research did not find any evidence to support that any individual fuel type represented an increased risk of vehicle fire.
Looks like you're wrong.
Wrong again. LPG tanks have to be retested every 10 years. The installation, there is only a recommended inspection schedule, no certifying required.
No kidding, facts are so much harder than unevidenced assertions. Kids today, totally slack arsed.![]()
