It is a reasonably new product. Its expensive, but no where near as expensive as cement stabilistation.Interesting stuff to mix,you get great long strings of polymer spider webs coming of the blade and tyres when it reacts with water.
Im wanting to use it on 3 sections of our current job which is widening an old narrow gravel road out to 7m seal, its a roadtrain route out to a cattle feedlot. We are are going to have minimal gravel coverage over granite bedrock,my concern is water moving between the granit and bitumen will lead to failure of the bitumen surface. Its a total of 1100m,the quote was $10,000 to supply the Polycom.Application cost is neglible as its just a matter of spreading the product via a spreader on a vehicle during the waterbinding of the road, wich has to be done anyhow.Awaiting to hear back from the boss if we can order it.
