New off road camp trailer / van

I have been watching this site for a few weeks and it has finally gone live. This trailer looks pretty impressive. It is obviously high end, so not for everyone. They have a D4, Defender and a LC200 in their photos / videos. Just registered so that I can get any news from them.

What sort of dollars to they run to? Quite a lot by the looks of it - I like a lot of the ideas in that - and that it's light compared to some that would be much smaller. I like the sides that lift up so you can cook from outside or inside.

Pity really, because I'll never be able to afford one....

Maybe you can buy just the Defender instead?

I hope the photo in the brochure with the Defender was fresh water. That was a rather enthusiastic entry....

Yes, I like the chassis and suspension, the light but strong body and the design with the rear entry, which allows better use of the front and centre. The lifting rear also makes a handy awning.
Can't find a price reference anywhere but I assume it's not cheap.

A member on another forum I visit submitted an enquiry and the base unit apparently is $105K, with the luxury pack (extra power and solar) taking it up to $116K.

    105k base price!!!!
Makes the Conqueror look like incredible value to me.
Couldn't find the actual weight in the link? Looks like it'd be up around 1.5t or more, add water and gas etc and it's 2t. Love the luxury, but could I go places with it that I can with mine which weighs about 1.1t in 'touring mode'?
Just so may things in there that I just don't need (TV and air con for instance).
Different strokes for different folks I guess, but I can travel a very long way with the $100k I keep in my pocket by not buying it LOL

I think I heard the commentary say it weighs 1.6 tonnes.
That price is certainly out of my league.
    Still impressive though.
