The overtones suggest that perhaps you weren't a big fan, Pat.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

Doesnt matter how much a Nissan 4.2 puts out when its done its usual.half million clicks it will have been better for the environment than the 3 utes etc that have been built and then scrapped in the meantime!

The three utes wouldn't have used as must fuel and oil combined as the 4.2,wouldn't have overheated every 5 minutes, blown a rear main every 6,snapped in halve three times, shed a few wheels, shimmied the driver to death, had all the plastic bits break, like the radiator and like mine have the turbo compressor decide to leave the snail and go through the motor.Other than all that they are bullet proof. No,not really.People don't see the value of spending $60,000 on a heavy duty ute with vinyl seats,or a wagon with A/C as powerful as an asthmatic teenager, and who can blame them. Pat

Any similarities there to a defender?

    Cheers

Defenders aren't trying to be anything other than what they are,the reason for the new one.And yes they do have asthmatic A/C but you get asthmatic A/C as standard, not a $2700 option. Pat
