Mate , ring the local pub , they will give you full info.......or......

The best road info in that area that you can get comes from Mavis , who runs the Post Office in Tibooburra.....give her a call and if she doesn't have the info you need she will ring around and get it for you......she does it for love ......lovely lady , born in the district and worked in that role for 45 yrs last time I talked to her.

I was also told that the local police officer at Hungerford was very helpful with this sort of info.... Might have to do a ring around later in the week... Was planning on leaving on Saturday.... will have to reassess where to go/if we go

So much for travelling in winter to avoid all the flooding/rain in the wet season

    Red face

We too are in the same boat (pun intended )

Plan-B was to head into Central Qld but that's also all closed atm. The guys at Trilby Stn reckon the roads won't stay closed for too long and if the areas get some wind, that will help dry out the roads, so praying that over the next 5 days the roads will be open..... otherwise we won't really know what direction to head
