Some people dont understand the attraction to landrovers...

Heck some people are even attracted to toyotas or nissans or jeeps! But we let them continue in relative peace

    Cheers

    Dan

Ps. I'm not excusing trespassing or any other illegal or disrespectful activity, but there are plenty out there who are just having a bit of fun.

My 2 sons have been out with their mats chasing these stupid things. They say it gets them out and exercising.
I wish they would hunt some in their rooms under all their mess and exercising cleaning up their rooms.

Well, there is a meme now in my locker with Dirty Harry, telling me my "man card" has been revoked for playing Pokemon.
I don't care what people think. My wife and I have been out walking more and have learnt a bit more of the town we have been in for some 12 years now.
My 22,24 and 26 year old boys loved it as kids and have enjoyed the fun of being "kids" again.

Plenty of bingo halls to visit and skate parks to whine about for those who are somehow annoyed by it.

Though maybe our little town has a better class of participants?

Many of those singing the praises of this craze make much of the fact that it gets people off tbe couch and outside.
Has it occured to any of them that many of us have been enjoying the outdoors long before this turned up?

Well good for you, but don't you think that there has to be a good side to thousands of people young and old getting off the couch and getting a bit of exercise. It's a passing faze, it won't last long. Hopefully some won't go back to the couch.

Yes but the core demographic of Pokemon Go players aren't likely to be people already interested in outdoor recreation.
Sort of like saying why do you need to wear a hat and sunscreen outside when I already do?
    Besides, the key point is...
    If it's not disrupting you...
If it's not resulting in trespassing on your property...
If its not negatively impacting you on any way...
Why the need to complain about it?

The main point of my post was apparently not obvious. :-)
I was not expressing critiicism of the craze so much as expressing disappointment that so many people apparently were incapable of getting out and about until this came along.
I have no feeligs either way about the activity itself.

I run about 120km a week. The number of people out and walking impresses me - Even my son and wife play it to my amusement- Not me- I have enough bad habits running or riding

Why " as expressing disappointment that so many people apparently were incapable of getting out and about until this came along."

Everyone moving is good for almost any reason imo
