But this is not what e-voting enthusiasts envisage - they envisage being able to vote on your usual device - and I suspect establishing every device held by a voter as a node could be challenging. And blockchain does not address the challenge of identifying voters and preventing multiple voting (whether by voters or malicious or faulty code).
