    R U OK? DAY

Just a reminder folks of what today is.
I'm sure I've rubbed a few people on here the wrong way, that said, if ANYONE feels the need to talk, or even just wants to, my PM box is always open.
I've had members from here PM me offering the same when I've had personal troubles, goes to show that despite our many differences, this place is a pretty special one.
Ask your mates, ask your family members, ask your co-workers. And ask yourself.
And know what to do if the answer is "no, I'm not".
Remember, it's ALWAYS ok to talk.

Thanks for asking Muppet - I'm ok thanks.

Hope you are too, and everyone else. I've seen too much go so wrong for too many over the years, I hope anyone here who isn't ok at the moment can reach out and talk to someone.

Like Muppet, my ear is always available for anyone.
If you need to contact me please email homestarrunnerau@gmail.com - thanks - Gav.

This article hit home with me.

Dave Tedge was a mate of mine. He was a partner in an electrical supply and contracting business who used to do all the electrical work on a mine site I was managing a few years back - I met him through these dealings.

I still remember clearly the day that I was told that Dave had taken his own life. The news had me in shock at the time - I didn't know how to handle it - I still don't.

RIP Tedgey. I hope that reading this interview with your daughter might make even one other person ask for help when they need it.

    Cheers .........
