I have never seen valve stems in any conventional Auto Parts Store. Anywhere...

Always got them direct from supplier or from a local tyre shop.

Any tyre shop should sell you a handful of these for a few bucks each, after all they buy them in bulk. I reckon Bursons had some the last time I wanted some, a few years ago. I repair most of my own flat tyres myself, bought a commercial Rema Tip Top plug patch kit, easy to use.

Bricks and mortar shops are killing themselves, no sympathy for them at all.

Yeah just need to find a tyre place i can get to before they close Maybe try Burson up here in salisbury.

and Gordie yeah I know they say they have them but apparently out of stock everywhere.

Sorry was just really having a rant

Its like whenever you go there to get a socket, filter, anything you find all but the item you want. But i can get a stubby cooler or a plastic model engine that really works :P

Yes they can be frustrating, advertise a special, go in and the shelf is empty, luckily in my area we have a repco right next door, usually turns out that I walk in there, use the RAA card for discount and get the same product cheaper anyway! Also have a sprint autoparts nearby, usually cheaper for parts by far.

Every auto store I've been in sells valve stems... And I am a regular customer at quite a few.

Geez, I have never had to buy a valve stems........ya gotta be unlucky to damage one.

Usually from a Lazy tyre fitter not replacing them with the last set of tyres.
