The idiots responsible for the "Budgie nine" were hardly taken by surprise. This was premeditated stupidity carried out by a bunch of morons. Shame they're not spending a few months cooling their heels in a jail cell.

The antics of some Aussie tourists in Bali would make a lot of us ashamed to call them Australian

I felt that way when I lived in Thailand and saw the way some Aussies behaved in the tourist areas, particularly Pattaya.

I heard a comment on the wireless the other day.

It was said that too many people when they put their passport in their pocket, they then leave their brains at home.

I thought it was a very apt comment.

The "boofhead's" father is the CEO of the City of Kalgoorlie Boulder.

Daddy flew over to KL to "assist" in getting his son home.

The son is allegedly a "chip off the old block". Rumour around here is that the "resignation" may have been one of a couple of choices that he was offered.

Just an observation when we returned from Japan, at Tokyo international you could spot the Aussies and which queue at check outs were the flights back to Australia.
Usually the tatts, piercings , beer guts, Jack Daniels T shirt or similar , baggy shorts half hanging down exposing their crack, thongs, and that was only the women.
It must have been a shock to the locals as tatts are a no no, (Yakuza permitting) you can't go into a public bath or swimming pool if you have tatts, the Japs are pretty prim and proper and well dressed we found, they took pride in their appearances

Aussies seem to be totally different breed to other Nationalities in comparison. In the terminal, they also left their rubbish sitting on seats in the concourse, even though the bins were in reach.
The layback attitude, she'll be right mate.
Maybe we just caught a flight of bogan holiday makers, unfortunately they are ambassadors for Australia

Yeah, I used to laugh at Americans until I saw our bogans in action.
Its not just the workers either - the ones from elite private schools are also arrogant.
