While on a property at Rathdowney to day I came across two ser1. landrovers resting peacefully on a 80 inch with a very nice straight body and not much rust very repairable the other one was a 107 inch with what appears to be a broken / rusted chassis If any one is interested I can put you in touch with the owner. He asked me their value and I told him about $300+ both
Crazy, I had a look at them 15 years ago, but they weren't for sale. Seen them in the same spot for years before then. I was after the the 107 which had a broken back . I think the 86 was more or less in running condition but the owner wanted to keep it for his grand kids to learn to drive!
