    From what I've read elsewhere, it is basically a Nissan Navara with Mercedes body bits thrown on.

    Apparently Audi are also thinking of releasing a ute - don't know much about what theirs is based on though - I would assume VW Amarok.

    My understanding as well & there are a few issues with the Datsun chassis apparently.

    Was reading in the herald sun cars guide that one of the Merc platforms is shared with Infiniti i think it was.
