A Ripper Few Days In The Mallee.

Just got back from a few days in Wycheproof & surrounds,...23-25 degrees, clear blue skys, plenty going on in the paddocks, harvesting looking good.
Visited the Avro Anson Resto at the historic WW11 Nhill Aerodrome, attended the inaugural Drag Race meeting at the Swan Hill Drag Racing facility, and met, and spent time with, an Aussie Rock "Icon", Issy Dye who was playing at the Royal Hotel Wycheproof on Saturday night.....and had three MASSIVE (probably too massive!) pub meals at the Royal,..how does "Royal Rissoles, chips, vegies & two eggs sound"?
Also did 1600+ks in Gracie, who really likes this part of the world too!
Just an absolutely perfect few days, can't wait for the next time.

Issy Dye- there's a blast from the past. He used to host the afternoon kids TV show when I was in about grade 2, must have been around 1969 or so.

The "meals" are great, certainly not "fine dining", but just good old Aussie tucker, ...two meals & a bottle of red for under $50,.....and ya don't walk away hungry!!....plus, there are usually some great people in there to have a chat with.
