Let's see now, a 75k service, a third birthday so we loose the warranty, 2 new LCAs, some driving lights, an invitation to tow the van to a beach camp site tomorrow down York Peninsular and a big dose of maguires polish and tomorrow morning some BP to eat on the way down.
    What a life

    Regards
    Peter

Against my (and a most Venerable Sage also on this Forum...) better judgement....
A nice shiny new, "100 year" - drum roll - 'Made in AUSTRALIA' battery - NS 70 (Shorter than the standard N70, otherwise same WxH) for The Lady Sarah, to replace the 'Made on some islands in the Pacific Ocean' battery, one of whom's cells had EXI(t)ed the building...at <2 years into a 3 year warranty.

#3 Son-The-Mechanic can argue said warranty with his boss/battery supplier, and if he gets another one or discount for his 4WD Ranger, - Good Luck to him.

I could lie...and say Money was No Object in buying the best possible quality for my Mistress, but anyone who knows me would suggest it has more to do with being able to prove to a potential buyer, that the car DOES start.... and that the above Son was tardy in getting me another $100 'cash' - bargain...

EDIT: My impatience co$t me an extra $75... for an extra 30 Cold Cranking Ampere.
