Now I don't think they would let that pass as an excuse - but I'd like to see what would happen if you tried

    Doh!
Thanks one_iota! How the hell did you guess that! 8O

That long stretch of 40 zone out the front on Pennant Hills Rd is a combination of schools, although a lot of it is Kings School. We're on holidays now though, so the 40 part wont be an issue for a while. BTW, the cops sit in the bus stop at our gate northbound regularly and book people as they come around the corner through the cement dividers.
    Cheers

"Thanks for all of the kind wishes.
    Sorry about the hijack ops:

Looking at the 40 zone P38Rover, it starts with Redeemer Baptist School, Burnside Public, The Kings School, A Bible College, The American School and then James Ruse Ag College. It's a few km's long alright!
    Cheers

I don't suppose many from Kings go by foot - so why the 40 km/h zone along its full length.

LRH, I don't have school age kids so I have no idea when school holidays are in effect, or if it is a school day. With shift work, I even lose track of the days.

All of the signs should have flashing lights to warn motorists (some do).

Lots of them from Kings go by foot, especially down along Bettington Rd. During those times there are a lot from Tara (which is down the back) up on Pennant Hills Rd also.
    Cheers

There is one avenue to go down, go and get the Australian standards on radar/laser usage. This will give you a run down on what conditions they are meant to be used under, If they have gone outside the conditions and you can prove it you will win the case. Just remember the word prove it is a very shakey word in legal terms
