Getting on the road later today for a week or so in Kalbarri. Due to me not being able to get any time off work (I work a 6 days on 6 off roster) I need to come back home for work. The rest of the family will enjoy themselves in Karbarri while Im back at work. So my disco is going to rack up 4392km (based on google maps) driving from Tom Price to Kalbarri and back twice, then in a few weeks we'll be heading to Perth, so theres another 2938km's. All up 7330km within about 3-4 weeks and Im not even leaving the state!

Nope, only done 800KM I the last 2 weeks.. Back to work on Tuesday so it will be back to 1,000 a week of city driving, so I'll take the break while I can.
Enjoy your trip.

I clocked up about 1500km on our trip to Port Gregory/Kalbarri, this is approx 20% of my total mileage...
Yeah, that doesn't sound like fun Shane....
I should be racking up a few km's this trip - Perth to Cape Leveque via Carnarvon, Mt Augustus and Karijini, then back home via the coast. Last year I managed to rack up 11,500km in 3 weeks (Perth - Port Augusta - Darwin - Broome - Perth, plus side trips) so this year will come in a little less than that. Currently sitting at the cafe at Cape Leveque doing....nothing. Well, nothing apart from checking the forum!
I was planning on racking up some miles over Christmas But a young fella put his dual cab ute right in front of me while I was doing 60 KPH.
So, now my DII don't go, Caravan don't go, his ute don't go and the poor bugga sitting there doing nothing but spectating, his ute don't go either.
Tow truck firm happy though!
So, my mileage was Nairne to Mildura and Kaput.
Ah well next holidays with a newer DII.
Cheers
Mike
Just had a quick look, racked up shade over 15,000km this year so far. Must say its still the most comfortable 15,000km I've spent in any car
