Can you imagine being the technical person roped into doing the illustrations for the manual, and then you get to that bit...
Life is just a series of obstacles preventing you from taking a nap.
How people pass on incorrect information...
Someone on Whirlpool forum was asking about buying a 4WD and a bloke made this comment about modern Range Rovers:

Hi
At a training event this year (2019) an LR person demoed to us the motorised tow ball/hitch on the Disco 5's. No ball appeared to be present. At the press of a button on the Android App it slowly extended like an er__tion, and with another press it retracted. He asked what we thought of it. My thoughts was that it was a w__k :-) Would suit a buyer in Vaucluse or Mosman. More things to go wrong.

Assume they own Toyotas, have swallowed the Toyota propaganda and have no idea about Landys, which is pretty common.
I had a bloke driving a Cruiser ask me if I had the top roadside assist cover when we were in Longreach recently. I replied I did, but had never had to use it. His response: "You've been lucky. "
What an arrogant and insulting attitude!
Imagine his response if I'd asked him how often his Cruiser had been towed. Actually, I wish I had thought quickly enough to say that. It would have been amusing to watch him start spluttering about his 'unbreakable' Toyota.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.
