Just came back from China and that's how they do things. I loved China a lot and will be back. But some of the work practices are amazing. The thing is though, they get things done.

I'm not sure - there wasn't much about that, more about the amount of injuries and deaths working at heights still causes. Based on the trees in the pic without leaves, I don't think so unless it was taken last Winter.

And everyone knows that a bit of wire with a Cobb & Co hitch is much, much safer than G clamps!

Not for this little black duck. I wouldn't trust any knot made by me!

Welcome to my world, except we must have a new bloke on site as there's a ratchet strap other than that it's a lump of Telstra rope from the back of someone's ute and the skidsteer's too new. I don't go to work for the money, it's just to see what's going to happen next.

    our
Our current younger generation may laugh at some of these other country's work safe practices, but its not that far back in our life that our fathers were using similar on the job practices to enable our them to achieve tasks that had to be done. I have lived in Singapore and Malaysia and have spent time in Nepal and seen much of what we laugh at, yes they do have accidents in the work place but so do we My generation often had to make do with what was available to achieve a task but you knew the danger and worked to your own safety limits with good and bad results Yes some of the work practices that we laugh at are just stupid.
I dislike to hear the words Work place health and safety Its taken away the reason ability for a person to think logically in many ways, I know I am going to be criticised by some of the younger generation , but that’s life
