The local 'roo shooter out near the property, years ago had an old Fairlane.
The boot had about 2 inches of dried blood in the bottom,he had a few holes also drilled in the bottom of it so it could get the occasional hose out.It was always breaking down, and the arse was just about rubbing on the ground all the time.
When the boot was full,he used to have them on the back seat.
Older guy,i used to feel sorry for him,no money, bloody hard work by yourself.
Always bought second hand tyres, and batteries, that was what some had to do in those days.
No one does much,if any professional roo shooting out that way now, hardly any around after the drought, and with the newish rules, its very very difficult to make any money out of it.
How true!

Far be it for me to correct a famous quote.
Brigham Young > Quotes > Quotable Quote“He who takes offense when offense was not intended is a fool, yet he who takes offense when offense is intended is an even greater fool for he has succumbed to the will of his adversary.”
