A woman driver here a few years ago had a flat tyre & pulled over & sat in the car awaiting on the Freeway for her Son in Law to arrive to change the wheel.
When he got there Ma in Law & car had been flattened by an HGV. As I recall the Driver had supposedly fallen asleep at the wheel & veered off after driving from Melbourne overnight.
