I only know of one down here,,,,,,,,,, It was the metallic green colour, had gold stripes down the side and GS instead of GT at the end of the stripes.

No shaker through the bonnet and I reckon it was a 6 cyl, which may have been the pov pack option (on a pov pack GT). Can't remember a wing on the back either.

Owner is still around, I'll ask.

    cheers, DL

An original XY poverty spec 200CDi three on the tree Falcoon will bring prices that will make your eyes water. I've seen RT40 Coronas bring high $$$$, and they were crap from new.

None of this makes sense. I have a FIAT 124AC Coupé, 1969. It was a lovely car in its day. It sat here, as a project for maybe 20 years. A tree put paid to it ( Try living here ). I hate FB, but there are "groups" apparently. I joined a FIAT 124 Coupé group. I have people from as far away as Belgium harassing me for parts off my car.

I'm with "See Ya Shane". These things have value, and no snob will tell me different. I may restore my FIAT if I can find the $$$ and the lifetime to do it.

Had a couple of very nice Ford wagons.........

#1 XW Fairmont wagonbuilt for the MD of Ford at Broady............nothing really special about it apart from the custom upholstery (cloth inserts) 6 cly,3 on the tree. Did have original XW Fairmont hub caps which kinda looked like mags. Probably worth a bomb these days....... they were rare in the 80's. Very dark green metallic, almost black.

Got too rusty. Sold for $600

Next one was an XW Fairmont wagon, Grecian gold, 302W, C4, factory LSD.

Wow, what a car. 130 on the hwy all day every day and pretty good on 4wd only tracks. Would do 100 km/h in reverse, only checked that out once.

Got a bit rusty, sold for $600 to a couple of blokes who did some work on it and sold it again 6 weeks later for $6k............early 90's I think.

    cheers, DL

It seems more likely that he put one ON a '57 IMO...

Unless you reverse the letters, then Very Expensive would work.

It would've needed a periscope or two.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

Not these days. A drone would cover it, sadly. Nobody would need to drive the thing. I'd have a go, but OH&S or whatever would step in. We have bred a whole generation ( possibly a lot more ) of wimps.

Speaking of periscopes, as a kid I had a Mil spec scope. Seemed to get lost somewhere in the journey. Pity, because it might have got me out of debt. Came from a WWII tank apparently. The broad arrow suggests it was an allied tank. Of course, if it was from a Nazi tank it'd be worth far more, but I don't have it so that's all moot.
