This is interesting from the 3.45minute mark.

But i still cant work out what this sort of stunt proves?

The new Range Rover Sport premiered dramatically with a world-first stunt

Proves a 4wd can't be marketed without copious shots of tearing up the environment.

The spillway section shows why the car will be popular in NSW just to drop the kids off at school and do the shopping if it keeps raining.

All the tech will make for a more entertaining new section on AULRO than the D3/4 one.

In the end it just shows how far LR have come

Especially with panel fit............... compared with the late model model RRC's where the stamping dies had worn out.

A 12yr old D4 probably could have done that....so no real improvement for 10yrs

    Just more complications,i bet.

You've got me thinking if my POS would do it (has enhancements), but it's not the sort of stuff I do in it.

Vern would know if one of his previous RRC's was capable.

I wonder how this new RRS would go on Ellis?

Final quality testing for water leaks perchance? A convoluted way to be sure to be sure.

    Another perk for Staff?
Iceland should be noice at this time of year.

It would have as much chance doing that as it would a re run of a Camel Trophy in the South American jungle.

We keep forgetting they have now deserted the market they pioneered....

    Anyway,good luck to them.

Point taken O wise one but the Market for those vehicles has changed, something we olde bastards tend to forget, ignore or wish to remember.
