    It's easy to laugh and criticise, but that surface is extremely greasy. It would only take the drive wheels to spin, or the steer to follow a depression and you become a passenger. The driver has tried to save it but the lack of grip beat him/her.

    Yes i have done worse in a car in those conditions,more than once.

    Edit,did it in the D4 a few years back,out past St George,just been a light shower,black clay.

    Spun around, backwards at a slow rate of knots into a drain.I tried to get out the car,the road was that slippery i couldnt walk on it.

    Anyway,somehow the car got out,i used Rock Crawl.Took a few goes but it got there.
