He is partly wrong though, S2A did have Lights in the front grille for a while then they went to Lights in the
Fenders/Mudguards. Also had a curved front centre bumper panel. S2 had a flat one.[bigrolf]:rulez:
But who is counting anyway?
I reckon Landyites are better LR mechanics than run of the mill grease monkeys. IMHO of course.

Series 2a was produced from 1961 to 1968 with narrow set headlights. It is unclear just when Australian production changed, and it is likely that it continued until the existing stock of parts was used.
Contrary to the supposition that Australia was one of the countries requiring wide set lights, this does not seem to have been the case for existing designs such as the Landrover.
