Definitely an Alpine, either series 1 or 2. All of our five kids have had Alpines, some being passed from one to another. At last count, there were four Alpines and eight other assorted Sunbeams between us. Coincidentally, several other Sunbeam owners I know confess to owning a Landrover of some kind, either in the past or present.

I'll go with Alpine, the Tiger would have been rare in the UK and quite possibly the picture is pre 1964, ergo pre Tiger.

Am going to think that the picture is a still from a film that was released when the first motorway opened in the UK. Was to tell people how to drive on a motorway, what to do if you broke down (European cars breaking down?) and not stopping to picnic in the central reservation

Also it has wire wheels. Don't think Mr Shelby would have approved of them on the Tiger.
