I remember a comedian guy who did sound effects telling the story of having a PA on his car. Driving through some sleepy town at night making freight train noises. Town had no train track.. Always wanted to do that...

Back in the early 70's a couple of friends of mine were camping along the Diamentina around the time of the Birdsville races. They'd driven quite a few k's along the river to get away from the mob and found a nice isolated camp site. After a while another couple arrived and began to set up about 30m away. Friends waited until the couple had almost completed their setup when they blasted out a recording of an air raid and fired off a couple of live rounds fron the 12 gauge shotgun.
Needless to say, the couple departed very quickly. :Rolling:
