Do they really look enough like ships to use nautical terminology?
They are what they are John and when you're on one it's as well too remember what they are and as much nautical terminology as possible.
I do not think I will need to do that - I cannot imagine the circumstances in which I would voluntarily be on board one!

Amusingly the vessel I regularly mastered was replaced but retained and reregistered as a pleasure craft. With that administrative stroke of pen, I suddenly became unqualified to operate the said vessel.[bighmmm]
