Has anyone seen the video of the Japanese Mini sub sunk off Pearl Hrabour 90 minutes before the main attack.
The US ship reported it, but nobody did anything.
It shows almost wilful stupidity .

Yep, and General MacArthur was told of the attack on Pearl Harbour, but notified nobody and did absolutely nothing to prepare the Phillipines. When the Japanese attacked the Phillipines later on, all the aircraft were lined up like ducks in a row and everyone was caught totally unprepared. They ended up losing the Phillipines because of it. Lots of blame all round. Several other senior commanders were hauled over the coals, but Dougie MacArthur, whose failure was worse, got promoted. It's a funny old world...
