Have you ever noticed they never take them off the shelf & if you actually do buy the damaged cans, the price is still the same? Sometimes due to the damage the cans can be blown.

I wonder whether he ever found one in a hole in the garden surmounted by a red pennant?

One of my customers has modified a bead bazooka BEAD BAZOOKA(R) - Gaither Tool Co.
To shoot golf ballsInteresting, Odd or Funny Pics II.Interesting, Odd or Funny Pics II.
They go 600+ meters as his neighbor complained about a golf ball coming through the window on his house
My customer thought he was shooting into the bush behind his place, not over it🤣

    They definitely didn’t go 600 meters,maybe 200 at the most,down a big hill.
But gee it made some noise.
A mate at school had one and showed them how to build it.
I think they used lighter fumes to propel the spuds, can’t quite remember, seniors disease is catching up to me.

I do remember their mother confiscated it,and destroyed it,the kids thought that it was the end of the world.

It could have been if they had started firing Nuclear Spuds towards Russia.

As kids we had fireworks guns made from galv water pipe threaded one end with screw on cap with small hole for tupans bunger wick to come through . we would drop a marble in the other end & light the wick . Marble would go through two sides of a 44gal drum . We were young & stupid back then . I had a potato gun also , you would push the front of the gun into a potato & it would fire a plug of potato about the size of a rubber on the top of a pencil , think it worked on water pressure because it was also a water pistol. All I know if you got hit with the potato pellet it hurt & left a bruise.

    The spud gun
Works with air pressure but also can shoot water
We used to get cast ally ones, also remember the plastic ones similar to these

Potato Gun | Mad About Science

    We also built our own
100mm to 60mm reducer, screwed cap on the 100mm end, about 1 meter of 60mm pipe on the other
Gas igniter in the 100mm end
Spray in some carby clean, load a spud (or lemon)
Push it down the tube (compression Interesting, Odd or Funny Pics II.Interesting, Odd or Funny Pics II.)
    Click the ignition and BOOM
Watch the flying potato go through the neighbours fence (run and hide)🤭
(Good idea to wrap a rag around the big end in case of rupture, don’t, I repeat don’t use oxy acetylene, guarantee rupture, even though it makes the spud fly a couple of hundred metres through the airInteresting, Odd or Funny Pics II.Interesting, Odd or Funny Pics II.)

    Oh yeah
Don’t tell the kids Interesting, Odd or Funny Pics II.
