Reminds me of SWMBO years ago,she worked in the Vally at Davey pumps,no room on site to park the old ****box Torana.
So she was always going out rubbing the chalk mark off the tyres,or moving the ****box to another park,trying to keep one step ahead of the parking officers.
One day the boss went to move the car and didnt know the mounts for the drivers seats had rusted through,and went arse over with the seat as he took off.

That is what I was thinking also, but then you would have to prove what time you parked.

When I was going to Automotive collage in Merivale St South Brisbane, parking around the collage was 4hrs & they marked a chalk line across the tread at lunch time we would all go out & move our cars one parking bay to get rid of the chalk.

While I know this is said in jest, a friend of mine was beaten unconscious when she booked a car for illegally parking in a disabled zone - she's never recovered mentally from this, so while we all rag on parking inspectors, they are just doing a job they are being paid a pitifully low amount to do. Yes, some of them take great delight in catching people out, but I find it's easier just not to put my vehicle where it could get booked.
