I think you have the video set to private, it wants me to sign in to view it.
I'm convinced motorist can't see my Rangie, the amount of times I have been cut off and nearly run ito is getting beyond a joke . I don't have a cloaking device fitted to make my rangie invisible, I just cant understand how they can not see me. Zambesi silver, if it that hard to see?
Yesterday I had an enjoyable fishing trip out on the boat, I took out a visitor from Alaska, we were traveling along the Western Port highway, speed limit 100kph. The Rangie is about 3 tonne , the heavy fiberglass boat and trailer, gear added to the equation, and some one pulls out in front of me from a give way sign.
All this happened with only a few seconds to spare, I did manage to apply some breaking and my hands became implanted on the horn button and I missed "T boning" the idiot with a second to spare. At the end of this short dash came vid you will see how close we came to hitting.
We were a little shaken after this, and I caught a dumb look on the face of the other driver as he passed.

The time line when he decides to go for it and the near collision is only a couple of seconds.

Hello Mario,
Did you come for a visit to Bundaberg did you?
That is a classic move here. I have developed a theory that the driver is extremely short-sighted.
I have observed people sitting at T- intersections at the terminating road. There will be no cars coming towards me on the continuing road and there is no car following behind me. The people in the other car at the T-intersection will wait until I reach a certain distance (when I must come into their vision) and then they start to cross over the road in front of me.
Once they can see a car coming towards them they feel safe to cross - better the devil you know I suppose. The trouble is with adopting this approach is that their reaction time is not as good as it once was - just like their eyesight! Otherwise they would have to cross the road without being able to see anything coming.
I am very wary of T intersections here!
Kind Regards
Lionel
I imagine a Range Rover would be pretty hard to see, B-doubles apparently are.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.
Try driving a 600kg haflinger with little drum brakes, no doors, no roof and lap seatbelts. The horn works well though
This is a vid - on the same trip and over a 10 minute period.
Yep some people need glasses or maybe just pay attention

Garry, you too must have a cloaking device on your haflie also, it's seems chicken is the new game to play on the road these days.
The first oxygen bandit in your vid busted his guts to get in front of you only to turn left not far after, he could have waited safely behind you.
I can only imagine what truckies must go through on the road every day, people cutting them off etc, they can't pull up very quickly.
You guys must have really nice cars .... I find having a really battered POS with a nice big ( scratched ) bullbar works wonders. No-one wants to pull out infront of you ... 'Cos it's obvious you don't give a ****![]()
